From Canton/Potsdam

From Canton: Start out going West on NY-68/MAIN ST/US-11 toward HODSKIN ST. 0.3 miles. Turn LEFT onto GOUVERNEUR ST/US-11. Continue to follow US-11. 23.7 miles. US-11 becomes E MAIN ST. 1.0 miles. E MAIN ST becomes US-11. 16.9 miles. At the light in Philadelphia (See Stewarts Shop on your right) Turn RIGHT onto NY-26/N MAIN ST. Continue to follow NY-26. 6.3 miles into Theresa. In downtown Theresa Turn RIGHT onto NY-26/MAIN ST. Continue to follow NY-26. 1.6 miles, cross over route 37 (Stay Straight) Go under Route 81 continue towards LaFargeville. In Lafargeville take a right at the flashing light, stay straight at the fork in the road. Follow the road to the end where it intersects route 12. Take a right on to route 12 and follow it through the light and the Clayton arch where it becomes James Street. At Grant Dier Insurance take a right onto Jane Street, and then a left onto John Street at the stop sign. HMAC is on your left.

Directions from Syracuse

Take Route 81 North to the Watertown Bradley Street Exit #47. At the bottom of the exit ramp Take a left onto Route 12 Heading North. Follow Rt 12 North for 20 miles. You will go through 2 flashing lights on your way. When you get into the village of Clayton you will come to a stop light. Go straight through the stoplight and into the "downtown" area. This is James Street. Follow it until you reach the end(3 blocks) The river will be in front of you. Take a right onto Riverside Drive, then take your next right onto John Street. We are on the right hand side of the street one block up next to Cummings Funeral Home. From the East - Albany and Beyond Take Rt 12 North off the New York State Thruway. Follow Route 12N through Lowville and into Watertown. When you reach Watertown you will come to a stop light- turn left onto State street following it to the "Square" Go straight through the Square bearing right and following the signs for Route 12 north. Route 12 north will become Bradley Street. Pass underneath route 81 and continue following Route 12 north for 16 miles- through Depauville and into Clayton... see stop light... follow directions above.

From the Northern Adirondacks

Lake Placid & Saranac Lake Take Route 3 west out of Saranac Lake, staying on Rt 3 through Tupper Lake, Cranberry Lake, and Star Lake. Approximately 8 miles SW of Star lake (on Rt 3)Take Rt 58. It is a right hand turn off of 3 and The sign says Edwards and Gouverneur. Follow Rt 58 into Gouverneur. (22 miles) When you arrive in Gouverneur take a left at the stop light onto Route 11 south. (where Rt 58 hits the Main Street) Follow Route 11 south through Antwerp and into Philadelphia. (15 miles?) In Philadelphia you will hit a light. Take a right at that light onto route 26. (see Stewarts Shop & Gas Station on the right â€" at the light) Follow 26 into Theresa. The road will take you into a very small downtown area. At the stop sign at the end of the little downtown area take a right. This is route 411. Follow route 411 into Lafargeville. On your way you will cross Rt 37 and you will go under Interstate 81. In Lafargeville you will see Crowley Dairy on your left, as well as FK Gailey Fuel, and Agway. When you get to the (only) flashing yellow light take a right. (Clayton-Lafargeville Road)Follow this road to the end (4 or 5 miles) The end of this road will bring you to Rt 12. Take a right onto Rt 12. Follow Route 12 into Clayton. You will come to the one stop light in town and see a welcome to Clayton arch over the road. Go straight through the stoplight. Follow directions above.
