Registration deadline: Friday, August 2

In this fun workshop with fabric artist, Mary Knapp, students will create a palette of unique colors and textures using cold water dyes and canning jars.  Then weather permitting, we’ll have a chance to create a piece of heliographic (sun-dyed) fabric to coordinate with the dyed fabric we created.  When finished, your fabric could be used to make a pillow, a wall hanging, a sarong, or a place mat to name a few ideas!

Five fat quarters (a frequently used piece of fabric measuring 18" x 21") of 100% cotton print cloth will be provided for each student.  Additional fabric will be available for purchase as well.  Please bring heavy duty rubber gloves, 6 – 8 pint or quart sized wide mouth canning jars with lids and bands (may be previously used).

Admission Fee:$95 member/$105 nonmember
