Mitchell Price was trained at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, where he lived and taught for over six years. In this extensive class, he will take you through the methodology of how drawing actually works. If you’ve ever had interest in realistically drawing or painting objects from life, this class will give you the tools you need to start. Topics covered include: basics of the portrait, how to draw proportionately, light and tone, perspective, and composition of both landscape and still life. Daily exercises and some homework will be included.
Each student will receive a professional grade drawing pad, pencils and kneaded eraser. Please feel free to bring along any other paper, pens, or pencils you might want to work with.
