Have you thrown on the wheel and want to take it to the next step? Intermediate throwing class will work on exploring methods for centering, pulling, shaping and trimming. Students will throw a variety of functional vessels on the potter’s wheel, to include wine/coffee/tea cups (with or without handles), bowls, bottles, and more if time allows. We will consider aspects of function and aesthetics. Each class will include both demonstration and practice time. This session runs for 4 consecutive weeks, and students are welcome to take advantage of additional open studio hours during that time.
