Weft is same. pattern weft is cotton, red/pink. Hemmed on two sides. Documented with a slide/photo in HGA slide kit "coverlets" #69. Observation by Ruth Holroyd for the commentary of the slide kit "Graduating blocks form a blooming leaf pattern, but is used more as a connecting block with a large table."...View Full Record

Coverlet fragment - Natural cotton and black (which appears dark brown). Overshot weave. Pattern is Methodist Wheel, Whig Rose (clusters of roses and wheels). One selvedge. (A) Warp is set at 37 epi. weft is black, but appears dark brown. Observation on catalog card reads, "Band was cut lengthwise up the middle, A is one side with selvedge, and B is the other side with selvedge.
