Students will be able to choose from a few original River-themed designs created by the instructor and will learn the process of re-creating artwork into a mosaic.  Basic glass cutting skills, mosaic glass laying techniques, and grouting will all be discussed and practiced as you create your own beautiful work of art.  All materials and supplies are included in the tuition cost.

SUSAN BERRY has been a glass artist for over 38 years.  She has worked with many aspects of glass medium and continues to explore new techniques and methods.  Her love for teaching and sharing is obvious in her hands on approach and personalized instruction. After a yearlong study in stained glass, she went on to study fused glass with the late Dan Fenton, Oakland CA and torch work from Marcello Florencio, Buffalo NY.  Susan is an instructor at the Center for the Arts in Bonita Springs, Florida, teaching glass fusing, glass bead making and glass mosaics. Her glasswork can be seen at the River Muse Art Gallery in Clayton.
