Long narrow sampler, predominantly cream, green, red and blue. Horizontal bands of varying width show a variety of treadlings to create plain weave, twill variations and overshot patterns. Warp threads are all a fine two ply S twist natural cotton. Weft threads include untreated and mercerized two ply cotton yarn, cotton floss, and metallic flat strands. Most metallics are silver colored, one is copper colored and one wide band shows multicolored metallic threads in blue, aqua, and copper color. Ink inscription on number tag reads: Student work.
