Small natural cotton sample with blue lines and blue lettering: B F. mounted on card. It is plain weave with inlay. Warp and tabby weft are natural cotton three ply Z twist fine yarn. Fill is heavier natural cotton and blue cotton, both of which appear to be three or four ply and both have an S twist. Two selvedges and two cut edges, one of which has glue reinforcement.
