Small sample mounted on card with lower half in orange and natural cotton Honeycomb weave and upper half in teal blue and natural cotton checkerboard overshot weave. The warp is two ply S twist natural cotton. In the orange and off white sample the weft consists of a fine orange cotton floss, not mercerized, and a heavy natural cotton yarn, two ply S twist. In the teal blue and off white sample the pattern weft is three ply S twist wool. Ink inscription on mounting card notes that the teal blue overshot sample is drafted on opposites.
