Child’s jacket pieced together by machine stitching using striped fabric for all but central panels flanking center-front opening. Jacket shows old label noting that it is Syrian. Striped fabric is warp-faced with yellow, green, navy, and cream threads. Weft is navy thread. Fabric flanking center-front opening is cream with multicolored stripes and diamond shapes set in rows across width. Short stand up collar. Matches artifact number 86.2.57b – a shawl.
