Fragment of a coverlet. White, blue (indigo) and dark pink (madder), overshot weave, star and table pattern. Pattern in fine wool. Warp and tabby are fine linen. Weaving draft is attached. Color changes with each treadling change. Card attached to object says warp is linen but catalog card says 42 EPI cotton, natural. Weft is cotton, natural, finer than the warp. The pattern weft is wool. Indigo and rose singles.
