Blanket fragment – Natural and indigo blue plaid; twill weave, medium weight, wool warp and weft; one selvedge. Tagged, The two strips were sewn together as they are glued, note- pattern does not match. Gift of Miss Ruth Fowler, Rochester, NY. This documentation does not describe the fragment, but remains stapled as we received it. This blanket was woven by someone not expert in weaving – it has flaws in treadling, and irregular beating.
