Dark red shawl woven of red, brownish red and black and red boucle yarns in both warp and weft. Overall design of four wide vertical bands alternating: light and dark red bands with light red and black bands. Former curator [Sonja Wahl] notes maker as Klara Cherepov, catalog card notes maker as Lucille Landis. Two selvedges and two knotted fringe ends. All but pure red yarns mix a heavy woolen ply with a thin cotton thread ply.
