Sample/fragment of fabric – Pre-Inca Peruvian, Chancay period. Black and brown colors with triangular motif. Narrow piece attached by crude sewing. There appears to be a loom cord along one side. Design is inlaid with floats between the figures on the back. Plain weave with inlay. Warp is cotton, appears to be black. Weft is the same plus natural brown.
