Fabric sample – tan and natural wool with green, figured pattern. Weave is plain weave with supplementary warp, alternating weft; pickup. Appears to be cut lengthwise from a larger piece and warp is ravelled out between supplementary warp bands for weft fringe. Substantiated by the appearance at one end of the plain weave catching all of the supplementary warp.
