Fragment of Victorian drapery with multicolored stripes of fabric and ribbon. It is handwoven with ribbons and cut strips of best clothing fabrics (velvets and silks). Colors include black velvet, brown, orange, purple, green, red, blue and some metallic. Note on old catalog card calls it a Portieve.
