Square linen hanging. Transparent Textile Label attached. Handwoven in Finland. Purchased in the waterfront market of Helsinki, Finland in 1972. (see slides of trip in collection). Used as teaching aid in many classes. Good example of transparency technique, typical of Scandinavian weaving.
