Silk skirt Silk gathered along selvage in unpressed pleats onto waist band with weft desing running vertically. Black 3 ply silk warp, weft same in red, design weft fine red two ply wool. Threaded and treadled to draft on pages 168 and 186, Marguarite Davison. There is a sample of this material in the Rochester Weaver’s Guild Notebook loom projects 1958-1963, as well as a sample of Betty Terlouw’s material woven in different colors and textures.
