Multi-colored, horizontally striped cape with collar, black buttons and binding, no lining in order to show the construction to weavers. 2/20 black oregon worsted warp, multi-colored wefts. Threaded to 8 shaft Summer and Winter blocks, twill sequence; woven one pattern shot instead of the traditional two of each of 7 colors in rotation to extend the color placement repeat. See notebook of Mary Snyder’s workshop Steptember 1966. There is a sample of this cape material with the workshop notes.
