CLAY SHAKERS AND ORNAMENTS

Participants will make up to three (3) ceramic shaker instruments that can be strung from a Christmas tree or used in a number of ways. A shaker, or rattle, is a percussion instrument that makes a unique chiming sound when shaken – like a jingling bell. Participants will have creative freedom over the design: including provided textures carving tools, and clay to shape or add-on features to the shaker. Pieces are fired and finished in a glaze of choice before being given back for pick up (free) or shipping ($15.00).
