Understanding color value in your work is foundational if your goal is to create a well-composed piece. These values define your focal point, and create depth, form, and interest. Clarifying tonal values adds beautiful lights and darks while having lovely mid-values to balance your work. We will use one general color to create an entire stunning piece. Please bring pencils, an eraser, a fine-tip black permanent marker, watercolors, brushes, and 140 lb cold press watercolor paper.
