Glass fusing is a process of taking compatible glass, stacking it to make a pattern or design and then firing it in a kiln until the glass melts together. In this class you’ll be introduced to the many fundamental concepts of creating glass objects in the kiln, including how to cut glass, construction methods, and firing work in the kiln. After a brief overview you’ll make a 8”x 8” fusing panel using a wide assortment of supplied glass. Panels will be fired after the workshop and available for pick-up a few days later.
