Beginner Level / Teen and Adult

In this class you will make several pairs of earrings that look like feathers, along with pendants in the Makume Gane style. On the first day, you’ll build your earrings and pendants with polymer clay, learning the techniques of building designs with colored clay.  You’ll also learn the process of building Makume Gane, a Japanese metalworking procedure which produces a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns.  On the second day, you’ll treat your pieces with UV resin and attach your wires, posts, or clips.
