Come and learn about pysanky, traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs!

Pysanky are made using a batik resist dye technique. Melted wax is applied with a stylus, or kistka, and colors are layered onto the egg moving from lightest to darkest.  At the end of the process, the accumulated wax is melted off, revealing your finished design!  Eggs and all materials will be provided.  The proceeds of this class will benefit crisis relief in Ukraine.
