What is your ideal garden? Do you love strolling through a garden filled with colorful and fragrant blooms; or is it a cool and shady outdoor space to read; or maybe you’d like to recreate a piece of a grand garden you saw in your travels.
In this class, you’ll learn the process of planning your ideal garden. You’ll start with observing and cataloging the current condition of your proposed garden space. Then we’ll do an overview of design principles that can be applied to garden layout and structure, drawing techniques to study and express ideas, and strategies for selecting plant materials and other garden elements. At the end of these class sessions, you’ll have enough knowledge to get your ideal garden started!
