Arts & Crafts Show

CLAYTON, NY (August 14, 2018) – The Thousand Islands Arts Center will hold its 36th Annual Arts and Crafts Show & Sale on Saturday, August 25th, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday, August 26th, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at Cerow Recreation Park in Clayton.

Over 80 vendors, including over a dozen new ones, will showcase a wide variety of arts and crafts.  The juried show specializes in an array of handmade goods ranging from woodworking, glassworks and handmade soaps to fiber arts, paintings, jewelry, food and much more.  Returning this year, the St. Lawrence Quilters will have a wide display of their many beautiful quilts. The two-day show will also offer spinning and weaving demonstrations on Saturday.

The St. Lawrence Quilters also made and donated a quilt this year to TIAC for its bi-annual raffle.  That quilt will be on display as well and the winner will be drawn on Sunday. (Winners need not be present to win.)

Daily adult admission to the Arts and Crafts Show is $5.00. This is a Yellow Ribbon Event and a $1 discount is offered to active duty military and spouses with valid identification. There will be free admittance to the event for children under 15 years old. Proceeds from the show benefit the Thousand Islands Arts Center.

The food and beverage concession will be offered by the Thousand Islands Youth Hockey this year. This year’s show is generously supported by Reinman’s Decorating Center; River Magic; Reff Development; Clayton Trading Company; Michael Ringer Galleries; and 7News/Fox 28/MeTV.

TIAC is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, and Saturdays from 10am-4pm. Stop by 314 John Street, Clayton, visit TIArtsCenter.org, or call 315.686.4123 for more information.
