Table runner woven of off white and metallic gold threads in overshot weave forming a very subtle pattern of ovals and crosses in rows. Finished fringes at either end, two selvedges. Warp threads are gold-wrapped offshite yarn – possibly cotton or synthetic. Weft threads include warp plus beige rayon. Paper tag says in blue print: SOCIETY OF CONNECTICUT CRAFTSMEN / function / material / design / 1935. Handwritten in ink on tag is Lucille Landis / 5 / NFS.
