Coverlet fragment – natural cotton with rose wool pattern; Overshot weave, pattern is extension of Monmouth. Highly twisted and unevenly dyed pattern weft. Unusual selvedge treatment. It appears to have a tabby edge for reinforcement, handstitched to the selvedge. Handwritten note attached with more detail about weaving, and draft.
