Shawl. Beige with multicolored design with gold threads. Handspun singles, cotton, motifs are inlayed with multiple strands of cotton singles, hand embroidered multicolor and metal threads. Fringed on both ends. Lottie Speth purchased this in Yugoslavia in the 1970s. At the time the shop keepers were reluctant to sell it to her because it was old – she has no idea when it was made.
