Three piece ensemble consisting of dress, self sash, and jacket. Overall rust color created by blend of yellow and russet yarns in shadow weave. Dress is sleeveless with front zipper closure and large with peak ends at front and back. Self sash terminates with braided and wrapped fringe. Lined with off-white synthetic crepe. Jacket has straight lines with short cuffed sleeves. Collarless and plain open front. Lined with off-white synthetic sheer fabric. Correspondence concerning donation includes letter from weaver and donor Louise Deller. Louise Deller describes yarns and construction. Letter of donation dated August 1989. Accession register notes date of weaving and donation as 1983.
