POTPOURRI PAPERMAKING

Come experience a fun and sustainable artmaking practice using local plants and recycled t-shirts as you create your own paper.  In this class you’ll learn the basic techniques of Western-style hand papermaking, including pulp preparation and sheet formation.  Class will include multi-color pulp painting with stencils and a variety of pigmented pulp.  Your paper will be available the next morning along with instructions on a paper-craft idea you can make at home.  Great for scrap bookers or any lover of the book and paper arts! Please dress to get a little wet!
