Blanket fragment – Red and blue plaid; twill weave. Attached note reads, Blanket of two strips, each 40 wide. No border pattern. Red – cochineal with tin mordant; blue- indigo. Warp and weft are both wool. Carefully hemmed. White blanket stitch on four sides. This small fragment shows how center seam falls in center of stripe.
