The fall season provides a beautiful palette of colors and textures that we marvel at.  In this two-day, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create natural dyes with the vivid botanicals of autumn.  The first day is designated to creating mordants and dyes, and on day two, you’ll learn the art of botanical printing using leaves, flowers, and the dyes that were created.  Susan will show you how to bundle, stack, and arrange the botanicals on both fabric and paper, and you’ll leave with a wonderful assortment of creations!  All materials are provided, but please feel free to bring in some beautiful fall splendor to work with if you’re inclined! If you collect leaves early, just pop them in a baggie and freeze them till class.
