Class will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 235 John Street, Clayton.

How can you leave your mark?  Is there a symbol or image that you identify with? This week students will be introduced to popular visual signs and symbols that artists have developed to communicate identities and ideas throughout history.  The peace sign comes to mind, or the smiley face! We will also reflect inward and consider how we’d like to present our self-image through self-portraiture in different mediums. Students will be encouraged to develop their own “logo” or “emoji” 😊 through imagery of personal interests and boil it down to a simple form that can be made into a stamp.
