Kathy Hanna Joins Arts Center Board

The Thousand Islands Arts Center (TIAC) is pleased to welcome Kathleen Hanna to its Board of Trustees, effective immediately.
A native of Syracuse, Kathy’s professional career was spent at Mutual of New York (MONY) in Syracuse, and included stints as director of training, director of employment, customer service and others. A Syracuse University alumna, Kathy spent her childhood summers on Frontenac (now Round) Island. She now divides her time between Murray Isle and Washington, North Carolina, on the Pamlico River.
Chris Murray, TIAC’s Board Chairman, said: “Kathy is an ambitious watercolorist who became involved with the Arts Center over 25 years ago. Aside from taking many classes over the years, she has been a frequent volunteer taking special interest in our programing initiatives and became chairwoman of the Programming Committee last year. I look forward to working with Kathy, and the other hard-working and energetic trustees on our Board.”
